Commencer à magasinerSystem works well. It was little difficult to install in a 2012 F150.
Need to return don’t need them anymore
I got the pedal kit to drive on the right side of my 2011 Honda Odyssey, along with the T-bracket mount kit. Before it even arrived, I realized that reaching all the way over for the wheel was not going to work, so I got nervously purchased the Steering Stick.
The install was an absolute breeze. I took it for a test run in an empty parking lot nearby, trying it with the stick attached at 6 o'clock on the wheel, and at 3, but settled at the 12 o'clock position. Any spot I preferred would work; it was very easy to move it and re-install.
First time on the route was very slow.
For a complete 90-degree turn, my steering wheel turns almost 180 degrees, so it requires the use of two hands on the stick. I had not foreseen that, but it merely required adjustments.
I was used to driving with a bundle of mail in one hand, so I either had to bundle smaller or that had to change.
I also quickly learned to bundle mail so that I was never in a situation to make a turn with a bundle in my hand, but parked cars, garbage cans, and other obstacles still often require the use of a second hand for up/down leverage on the stick. It's doable with mail in one hand, but not optimal.
I eventually found a pouch that hangs on my passenger door, so I now simply place a bundle in the pouch and pull from there. I've now used it every day for a little over a week and I am back up to my regular route speed - the learning curve is very shallow.
The stick is excellent and very easy to use when driving to or from the route and on straight roads with few obstructions. Curving boulevards, heavy parking, and garbage day take a bit more, but it becomes second nature quickly - I was nervous, but pleasantly surprised. The most difficult part so far has been cul-de-sacs, but the pouch thing solved that.
And perhaps the best part is that when I'm done with my route, I slip the pin back into the pedals to disengage them, pop the stick off the wheel, and go get groceries or pick up the kids while driving in the normal position.
I highly recommend this product.
I have nothing but good things to say about this.. I ordered and paid extra for express.. however the post office (which is the job I ordered the pedals for) held up my package in Chicago and instead of getting it on Friday 6pm I received it on the following tues. I emailed Alex since he had enclosed his card with the shipment.. He was able to have my express fee refunded to me within a couple days... FANTASTIC customer service by Alex.. I had the pedals installed and it works great... Thanks again.. ( hope my new job goes this easily)
