No more blown-out left shoulders from having to reach over to grab the wheel all day! Introducing the SAFEDRIVE Postal Steering Stick, a design based on feedback from dozens of mail carriers. A simple to use and effective way to steer the car from the passenger's side, commonly known as RHD or Right Hand Drive. You can even make complete left and right turns.

With the simple push of a button, the stick disconnects from the attach point on the steering wheel and pops right back on when needed. The ball handle makes a convenient grip and the flexible hinge-joint allows you to position your passengers seat forward or backward for greatest driving comfort. It is made with lightweight aluminum alloy to minimize fatigue during a long day.

The system comes complete with full-color instructions, the 22 inch long steering stick, an optional 9 inch extension (if you prefer to drive with your right hand or have a wide cab), the steering wheel clamp attachment, two sets of screws for various thicknesses of steering wheels, rubber spacers for added grip, and an allen wrench. There's nothing else you need for installation. Just put the attachment on your steering wheel, tighten the two screws with the allen wrench, pop on the stick and you're good to go.

After training for a short time (it took us about 15 minutes), you could easily drive the car from mailbox to mailbox. Turns do take a little more practice and using two hands on the stick was the trick. We sure had fun watching the reaction on people's faces as we drove by!

Great great product with small lifespan?

I loved this product so much! it made my job so much better and more comfortable with only a moderate learning curve. It really becomes second nature and is super easy once you got it. But after a year and a half of daily use. It broke. the spring mechanism that keeps the stick locked in failed, so it no longer locks. it just slips in and out of the steering wheel clamp making it dangerous to use. I'm just glad that it didn't fail while going too fast or needing to turn sharply.

I like the ease of using it. I'm saved hours of labor intensive steering from my bucket seat with this, and that makes me grateful.

Excellent product!

Install was easy and the best part is that it didn’t destroy the ability to drive from the left side!
Steering stick takes a little getting used to but after about a day of delivering mail, it’s a lot easier and saves our shoulders!

There is a bit of a learning curve.

A very good quality product, well engineered and well made. Took me less than 5 minutes to install.

After installing my Pedal Pro Plus pedals and the Steering Stick I headed for an empty parking lot. There was a bit of a learning curve for me. I practiced for awhile (15 minutes?) on 2 occasions then tried approaching my and my neighbors mail boxes. That went OK.

The real test was getting out on the route delivering mail. I have been using this 5 days now. I am more comfortable using the included extension so I can use both hands to steer. I am already planning on making a second handle for my left hand. Each day I get a little more comfortable using this and am slowing getting my rhythm back.

This seems to be a much better solution to steering from the passenger seat than leaning over to my left all the time.

Half the solution I needed!

I should start by saying this product is really just a couple pieces of steel with some holes and slots in them. Kinda pricey for that especially when I needed to do major bending and unbending to get it to fit. I also think is only half a solution. The way it connects to the seats and uses that to ground itself is clever and works well. but it only connect to one side of the pedals, so the pedals lift up and wobble when braking if you put it on the brake side and visa versa with the accelerator side. so I just bought a second t mount and only used half of the contents from the second order so I could secure down both sides of the pedal and brake. I didn't need a repeat of the part that attached to the seats, that I could reuse. So I wish they had an H mount essentially?

So good, I didn't even consider another conversion kit for my second vehicle.

This thing is solid, based on the materials and the welds, I don't think this thing is going to break ever. not for the use case. I have been using it for the last year and a half now and have two. One I used the tbar attachment, and the other I went straight into the car floor. I now prefer buying two t-mounts (yes two) method. but the one in the floor is arguable just as good if the car allows it. very simple device in function after you understand how it works. comes with replacement parts, but not screws, so do not lose any from the kit or you could be screwed.

I've had no problem getting comfortable with the controls. I have gotten about 300 miles with mine as of this week.

In the video, which was taken in a parking lot at dusk with businesses closed, you can see that I have a good handle everything.
