Installation was not as hard as I feared. Instructions were clear and precise. The offset bars were very much needed in my case as the brake is directly in front of where the steering column goes through the firewall in my 2018 rogue sport. The emergency brake cable was also in the way. But the offset was enough to overcome these issues. Luckily two of the screws holding the offset bar to the floor went into the frame below the floorboard, making the connection very firm.
On the other side I mounted the pedals to a piece of 3/4” plywood so I could raise it as high as possible, and not have all those holes in my floorboard. This gave me a little more foot room and another inch or so from the seat. I cut the plywood to fit then used the t-bar attachment to hold it in place. It doesn’t move at all. You can see by the dirt in the pics I have used it a few times. Everything works well.
My only issue is how the brakes work. It takes a lot of pressure to stop. It works, of course, but I wish it weren’t quite so hard. They said from the beginning their pedal would feel different so maybe that’s just how it is.
Other than that the system is really quite nice. I also purchased the steering stick. Still getting used to it. Fifteen minutes is definitely not long enough to become comfortable with using it, but it does get easier as you get used to it. I mounted the clamp to the top center of my steering wheel after first trying it on the bottom right as they show it being used. Top center is much easier to use as it’s easier to begin turns with a push or pull without adjusting the position of the stick. Also, when I drive on the left side, I drive in the 10 and 2 position (both hands) or the 7-8 or 4-5 position (one hand). Top center mount doesn’t interfere with normal left hand driving.
Overall I’m happy with this purchase.
