I have 28 vehicles on the road and all but 1 of them use the SAFEDRIVE brake. The other ones was the first one 1 bought. But the value, quality, and customer service I get from SAFEDRIVE is outstanding.
I like this brake overall and am pleased that the T bracket allowed installation of the brake into a Chevy Bolt. I do find the cable to make a bit of sound when depressed and that I do have to apply it pretty firmly to stop the car. The footrest a nice addition to the instructor brake. It is well designed and provides a good place for your right foot to rest when a student is driving. I ordered it more as an 'let's see how this works" but am glad I did. Would recommend if you are not using an accelerator pedal on your instructor brake.
Works well. I am a country mail carrier and I now have two vehicles equipped with the pedal kit. A F-150 and a Dodge Caravan. No complaints. The newer version is much easier to install than the first do to more was already assembled when it arrived (first kit was two years ago). Nice improvement. Replacement of worn out cables is harder, but doable. 👍
Was a little long for my compact car but was able to cut and bend to perfect size and works great. I really like that it won't set off opposite turn signal when snapping back to position after making a turn (My older heavier one did this and I'm sure it would confuse drivers behind me)
